- Develop industry leading spend centric strategies that
deliver business results that meet and exceed our goals.
- Develop strategies to combat the key portfolio challenges
via understanding the portfolios and the Customer. Understand
how the Customer Management actions and treatments impact each
of the portfolios segments.
- Utilize Statistical expertise in order to develop models and
targeting strategies to contribute to marketing and portfolio
optimization activities
- Innovate new ways to drive portfolio profitability, such as
"Do More Get More" and "Best Customer" - treatments. Work
closely with Risk, Marketing and CFO counterparts to develop new
product features.
- Develop segmentation to be used to drive portfolio actions
and marketing programs
- Continuously improve targeting and segmentation strategies
by exploring and evaluating new data sources and tools.
- Manage response/performance analyses on our past ECM
programs in order to build knowledge about how each treatment
impacts the portfolio dynamics.
- Train junior analysts in analytics and fundamentals of the
profit and loss.
Required qualifications include demonstrated leadership skills
and strong analytical and practical problem solving ability and
background in Statistics, Economics or similar discipline. Graduate
level degree and 5+ years experience in Marketing Sciences,
preferably in Financial Services. Experience in the use of
Statistical / analytical tools such as SAS / SPSS or knowledge
seeker. Familiarity with Statistical techniques such as time series
analysis, conjoint analysis and/or logistic regression. Strong
project management skills and solid understanding of consumer
lending market and P&Ls is a must. Must be a self-starter with
strong work ethic and with the desire to accomplish tasks with
excellence. The successful applicant must be able to mentor/coach
junior analysts. He/she should also possess superior interpersonal
and influencing skills, particularly strong skills for creating and
managing effective relationships with cross-functional partners.
