POSITION SUMMARY: AbleHat Ltd have a SAS Analysts
positions immediately available for long term project (1 year +)
opportunities in one of our clients in Washington,DC. The selected
consultants is responsible for the development, maintenance and data
analysis of a financial (mortgage) system, as well as the monthly
production processes. The candidate must be able to work
independently on loosely defined ad-hoc requests in a timely manner.
Heavy quantitative analysis will be involved.
Minimum requirements:
- Master's degree required in Finance, Economics, Mathematics,
Physics, or other quantitative discipline. Ph.D. preferred.
- Experience in financial services industry, especially mortgage
domain highly desired.
- 5+ years extensive experience with SAS, SAS macros, Unix, Unix
Scripting, Oracle, SQL.
- Experience with complex systems dealing with huge SAS datasets
(>100GB) desired.
- Strong knowledge of standard Microsoft Office products,
especially Excel/VBA.
- Knowledge of version control tools (CVS, etc)
- Experience with OO programming (C++, Perl, .NET, Java, etc) a big
plus.
- Knowledge of Autosys and Sharepoint a plus.
- Must be able to multi-task, and have strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of SOX, SDLC and other standards
